Brief biography of Cleopatra:
Cleopatra was indeed the last Pharaoh of Egypt and the last Pharaoh of the Ptolemaic Dynasty. She married her brother in 51BC because a female pharaoh was required to rule with a male relative/brother along side them. As Cleopatra's attempt to rule herself, by killing her brother by having someone drown him in 47BC. She was then forced to marry her other brother, in 47BC then in 44BC she went to Rome, rolled up in carpet or in a cloth bag dragged by servants (different sources) and met Julius Caesar, 9 months after their first and only meeting, Cleopatra gives birth to a baby boy. Cleopatra's husband/brother does not step down as Pharaoh along side Cleopatra, so Cleopatra ordered that he would be prisoned in c.44BC. This is Cleopatra's way of creating alliances with Rome.
Julius Caesar took power over Rome and Egypt and gave Cleopatra land to rule in Egypt while Julius ruled the rest. Soon after, Julius Caesar was murdered by Roman policitians because he was becoming a dictator in 44BC.
In 33 BC, Cleopatra tried to keep the alliance strong by then marrying Mark Antony.
They have a set of twins and another child, a total of four kids including Julius' son.
In c.30BC Cleopatra is captured commits suicide by either snake bite or deadly
poison because she is afraid watching her country fall to pieces.
